IT Strategy:  How to Write a Sustainable Technology Plan

Tuesday, February 9th and 18th, 2010

9am – 12:00 noon

Cost: $30.00

Speaker: Dena Ford-Francis

While we understand that nobody really enjoys writing a Technology Plan, in this workshop, we will stress the importance of planning in order to effectively perform the following tasks: budgeting for technology (new and upgrades); aligning information Technology (IT) strategies with an organization’s vision, objectives, and business strategies; improving processes that impact the “bottom line” through the use of IT; and planning for disaster recovery. Through the process of tech planning, you will assess what you have and what you need, and prioritize those needs now and in the future.
